The Rhythm Makers were founded in 1987 by Adolf and Eric Ribitsch
from a previous group by the same name.

Currently president of the Verein der Donaudeutschen, Gottscheer accordionist Adolf Ribitsch has been an active member of the Rochester German-American community since arriving in this country from Austria in 1952.

Adolf founded the Rhythm Makers Duo in 1980 and has been a popular figure on the Rochester German-American musical scene for many years!

Eric! - Trumpet and Vocals

Trumpet player Eric Ribitsch graduated from Bishop Kearney High School where he played in the award-winning Bishop Kearney Band under Ray Shaheen. Eric was principal trumpet in the Jugendorchester of the Verein der Donaudeutschen.
